We believe the body is at its best when all its members are using their talents and gifts to serve.

We want to help you connect to the volunteer opportunities that are right for you!

Serve at church

Worship Ministry team

This team is dedicated to leading our church in spirit-filled worship each week. Volunteers are passionate about worship and serve onstage as well as backstage to make the services happen. Whether you are a talented singer, a gifted speaker, or an audio visual expert, we have a position for you.

Adult ministry team

Our Adult Ministry team seeks to help our adults grow relationally and spiritually. When you serve on this team, you have the opportunity to teach an adult Bible class or lead an community group. If you love to connect with others and help them along their faith journey, there is a place for you here!

Students

If you have a knack for talking to teenagers, our Student Ministry could be the place for you! We have volunteers who teach tween, teen and college classes as well as lead small groups of students each week. There are also openings for volunteers to serve meals and provide transportation to events.

Children

This team is passionate about sharing God's love with children. There are many volunteer opportunities, from rocking babies, to playing with preschoolers and teaching elementary kids. You can serve on Sundays or at special events. Whether you want to be in the class room or behind the scenes, there is a place for you!

Serve our family

Support services team

Our support services team likes to stay behind the scenes, but they are vital to our operations each week. On this team, you can serve as an usher, or help with facility preparation and maintenance. And if you have medical or law enforcement training, we would love to have you serve as an emergency response volunteer.

Women's Ministry team

This ministry provides Southeast women multiple ways to serve our members. Whether your gift is writing cards of encouragement, preparing meals, or decorating for showers, there is a volunteer position for you. And if you love to plan parties or meet new people, you can find a way to serve with us too!

Fruitful Friendship team

We value every generation at Southeast, and we want to make sure our senior citizens are not forgotten. This team is made up of caring volunteers who spend time each month visiting with older members in their homes. They prepare and deliver fruit baskets to brighten their day.

Because I care and prayer team

The goal of this team is to make sure every member of the congregation is known and seen. Volunteers are paired with another member, and the assignment is simple: check on them weekly. Being on this team does not require a special skill set or a lot of time-it just requires a caring heart!
We believe in prayer at Southeast, and we want to bring the requests of our members before the Father. Volunteers on this team are dedicated to spending time each week in specific, focused prayer for the needs of our members. We want every member to know the encouragement that comes from being prayed for.

Body in action

As the body of Christ, we are called to meet each others' needs in practical, everyday ways. For many of our older members, routine home repairs and maintenance can be challenging. Volunteers on this team offer their time and skills on an as-needed basis to help our older members with these tasks.

Haiti joy boxes

Hope For Haiti's Children is on organization close to the heart of Southeast. Hundreds of members sponsor children in Haiti, and we provide shoebox gifts to those children each Christmas. Case camp

This event takes place each June, and volunteers are needed to prepare crafts and lesson materials, lead art or science projects, serve as group guides, and greet families in our hospitality area.

Angel tree

Each December, Southeast members donate Christmas gifts to at-risk children in our community. We partner with Hope Active to hold a Saturday gift distribution event at Southeast. Event volunteers help sort, wrap, and distribute gifts to families.

backpack drive

Each August, Southeast partners with Hope Active and area churches to provide backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of at-risk children in our community.
